Hidden HaciendA
Hidden Hacienda is our family's winter home base in Wickenburg, and we built it for roping families like ours. Pull in with your trailer and your horses, hook up to full RV service, put the horses in covered, shady pens a short walk from the arena, and settle in for a week, a month or the whole season. There are a lot of young ropers here all winter, and most evenings end up around a fire pit.

Roping at Hidden Hacienda
Team roping practices, open to the public: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10AM, December through March.
$40 per practice, $20 for an extra horse. Headers get 8 runs and heelers get 8 catches.

Covered Horse Pens
Our covered pens and runs are shaded, have sand footing and water, and sit a short walk from the arena. Pens are self-care, so you feed, water and clean your own horses, and we keep hay on the property for $5 a day. There is a 5-night minimum. If you need to travel during the season, full-service boarding is available on request, just ask us about rates and availability. We ask for a current negative Coggins and health papers for every horse.
RV Sites
Our 10 full-hookup RV sites have 30 and 50 amp service, water, sewer and WiFi, with a 5-night minimum and electric metered at $0.30 per kWh. We assign sites when you arrive so every rig fits, and every site comes with the Clubhouse, the laundromat, the guest bathrooms and shower, and the fire pits. Families who aren't hauling an RV can stay in the Family Lodge, and tents are available on request.
THE CLUBHOUSE
The Clubhouse is where everybody ends up after practice. It has a general store stocked with Five Marys beef and goods, a coin-op laundromat, guest bathrooms and a hot shower, an ice machine and a poker table, with BBQ and fire pit areas outside for the evenings.
Roping
We keep fresh roping cattle on the ground December through March and run public team roping practices three mornings a week, December through March, in a full-size arena with a round pen. Wickenburg fills up with ropers every winter, and a lot of them are kids and teenagers, so your young ropers will have plenty of company in the arena and around the fire.
