Welcome to Hidden Hacienda, a premier roping, RV camp and horse boarding facility located in the heart of the Team Roping capital of the West—Wickenburg, Arizona. Soon-to-be operated by Mary & Brian Heffernan and their four daughters, Francie, Maisie, JJ and Tessa - Hidden Hacienda offers a warm, family-run environment where the spirit of the West meets modern amenities and a hub for gathering for ropers, riders and rodeo families like us.

The Heffernan family owns and operates Five Marys Ranch in Fort Jones, California, where they’ve built a reputation for dry-aged beef, pastured pork, heritage lamb, tallow products and unwavering dedication to quality.

With the same passion and grit, they’re excited to expand their roots to Hidden Hacienda, bringing their love of ranch life, hospitality and western lifestyle to this new venture.

Opening in Fall 2025, Hidden Hacienda will offer:

• Top-tier Roping Facilities – Perfect for pros and novices alike, with ample space for team roping and breakaway practice and gathering.

• Horse Boarding – Safe, clean, and comfortable accommodations for your equine partners, with personalized care from experienced hands.

• RV Campground – Spacious, well-equipped RV spots with beautiful desert views and convenient amenities.

• Clubhouse - Enjoy the amenities our RV Camp Clubhouse offers - including a coin-op laundry, ice machine, bathrooms and shower, poker table and fire pits.

Whether you’re looking to hone your roping skills, enjoy a weekend of camping, or simply unwind with your horse in a welcoming, rustic environment, Hidden Hacienda is the place for you.

• ​Twice daily feeding of alfalfa/grass mix

• Daily cleaning of corrals and barn stalls

RV Camp Reservations :

Hidden Hacienda offers 10 arena side, RV Hook-Ups, each with water, sewer and electric service. 

Clubhouse access with bathrooms, shower, coin-op Speed Queen laundrymat, ice machine and hang out space.

Team Roping and Breakaway practices offered 2-3 times a week during the winter months.
